Kwame Eugene Reacts After His Ex House Help Disclosed She Was Being Paid Ghc 400 Per Month

In a Tweet, one of Ghana’s finest musicians, Kuami Eugene, reacted to an interview in which her former house help Mary disclosed the paltry sum she was being paid while she worked for the musician.So when Mary was seen disclosing in an interview with De MadKing that she was being paid Ghc400 a month for being the household of the musician, it shocked several people as they felt she would be earning more than that amount because although that is usually the amount most Ghanaians pay their domestic workers, one would expect that it would be higher when it comes to working for an A-list celebrity like Kuami Eugene.

The lady in the interview mentioned that, she worked for the musician for at least three years and that when she started she was being paid Ghc400 each month and got a salary increment of Ghc100 every year meaning in her second year the salary increased from Ghc400 to Ghc500 and then to Ghc600 in her final year.

That bit of her interview has been trending on Social media and it’s no surprise that, Kuami Eugene has also chanced on the video and has since shared a reaction to it on Social media.

With Ghana’s minimum salary reviewed and set at Ghc14.88 according to , it’s safe to say that Kuami’s former house help was being paid the minimum wage per law and on legal grounds, he had not flouted any labor laws.
