ECG set to embark on ‘Operation Fix the Bill & Pay the Bill’ from November 6

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) plans to commence a program called ‘Operation Fix the Bill & Pay the Bill’ from November 6th to December 11th, 2023.

The initiative aims to accurately record consumption readings for postpaid customers, ensuring accurate billing and verifying meter readings. This exercise will also assist in building customer confidence towards the bills received and collecting outstanding payments. The ECG will operate with a reduced staff to allow for the active participation of top management and staff.

Customers and the public are urged to cooperate with the ECG as they carry out their responsibilities, as granted by the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission’s LI (2413).
